Accessibility Statement

FileDrop’s commitment to accessible design

WCAG 2.1 Level AA

FileDrop targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Automated accessibility scans using axe-core with Playwright are run as part of every CI/CD cycle. The last full VPAT audit found zero critical violations across all tested pages.

What We Have Done

  • All interactive elements are keyboard-navigable with visible focus indicators.
  • Images and icon buttons include descriptive alt text or aria-labels.
  • Color is never the only means of conveying information (status badges use text and color together).
  • Form inputs are associated with labels and provide clear error descriptions.
  • Dark mode is supported system-wide for users with photosensitivity.
  • Drag-and-drop file upload areas include a keyboard-accessible alternative.
