Creating a New User

  1. Navigate to your dashboard
  2. Click on the "Users" tab
  3. Click "Create New User" button
  4. Fill in the required information:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Email address
    • Temporary Password (auto-generated)
    • Role (Student, Faculty, or Admin)
  5. Click "Create User"
  6. User receives an invitation email with their credentials

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: For @darkware.net emails, users are auto-verified for testing purposes.

Editing User Information

  1. Find the user in your user list
  2. Click the "Edit" icon next to their name
  3. Modify the desired fields
  4. Click "Save Changes"

Deactivating a User

  1. Find the user in your user list
  2. Click the "Actions" dropdown
  3. Select "Deactivate"
  4. Confirm the action

Note: Deactivated users cannot log in but their data is preserved.

Resetting User Password

  1. Find the user in your user list
  2. Click "Reset Password"
  3. A temporary password is automatically generated
  4. User receives an email with the new credentials

Bulk operations allow you to manage multiple users at once, saving time and effort.

Selecting Multiple Users

  1. Check the boxes next to user names
  2. Or click "Select All" to choose all visible users
  3. The bulk action toolbar will appear

Generating Reports

  1. Navigate to the "Reports" tab
  2. Select the report type
  3. Choose date range and filters
  4. Click "Generate Report"
  5. Download as CSV or PDF

A: There's no hard limit on user accounts. Your organization's plan determines any soft limits.

A: Deactivate temporarily suspends access but preserves all data. Delete permanently removes the user and their data (cannot be undone).

Q: Can faculty members create student accounts?

A: No, only organization admins can create user accounts. Faculty can view and grade student work but cannot manage accounts.

Q: How do I export all user data?

A: Navigate to Reports โ†’ User Data Export โ†’ Select date range โ†’ Download CSV.
